New Exhaust!

As a birthday gift for myself, I got an aFe axle-back exhaust for my 135i. The install wasn’t too bad, but only because I bought some
exhaust removal pliers. Without those, I’d still be underneath my car, swearing.

How does it sound? Well...

The video captures it pretty well. It sounds mean now, with barely any extra droning on the freeway. It’s also not so loud that my neighbors will complain about me on facebook, but it’s loud enough to keep me happy. Picking up my car from the parking garage is now much, much more fun.

That sounds good. Is there still a muffler before the axle then?

Unfamiliar with the car but I still want a used Z4 35i.

No muffler, but the stock downpipe, midpipe, and turbo keeps things relatively quiet. I was worried that without a muffler it would be too loud, but it’s just right for me. Even my wife approved!

Thanks for the info! My last 2 cars have been without mufflers and I like it, wouldn’t hurt to be a little quieter though.

Is that a resonator jutting out? My bday is in 11 days, I’ve been hankering for an intake to finally hear the blow off valve and turbo spool up.
